The Young Mozarts Program
for
Ages 4 - 9
The program nurtures the imagination and engagement of the young child. Age appropriate approach and materials individually matched to each student's need. Parent involvement is the key. We welcome and encourage parents to sit in on the lessons and take notes. Features classical piano training elements including learning to read music, a beginning understanding of the correct piano techniques, music theory, developing the musical ear, and learning how to perform with confidence. Styles of music learned include simple songs at first, moving to traditional folksongs and classical themes, finally on to easy original classics, plus fun and engaging modern pieces. Frequent recitals and performance opportunities with annual evaluation process.
