Kids Learn
Music Theory
The basics of note reading on the treble and bass clefs will be taught from the first lesson, in addition to rhythmic training and recognition. Piano technique will be built based on learning scales, chords, and arpeggios.
Kids Learn a Variety of Songs
Simple songs will be introduced at first using a pre-reading method in order to get the fingers moving immediately. As we progress, easy folksongs from a variety of countries, easy classical themes, and vibrant modern pieces with be taught.
Kids Learn How to Improvise
This program is unique because we nurture creativity in our students! Learning to improvise can seem scary, but we teach the easy way based on learning to create a musical motif, and then building on this motif using all the elements of music we have learned so far in class. We study how other composers have composed their music along the way!

Master Teacher Judith Cataldo leads a team of professional instructors in implementing the custom curriculum we use at our school. We use the best methods and approach to get optimum results for our students.
